A person in their garden calling out to the Father, embodying Jeremiah 33:3.
Published February 16, 2024

Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

Why is it important to accept Jesus Christ into our hearts?

Call unto me, and I will answer thee,

What a mighty promise from our Heavenly Father. Although the complete verse from Jeremiah 33:3 was originally spoken to the people of Israel,

Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.’

why shouldn’t it speak to today’s people? To the child of the Father, in whose heart Jesus Christ is accepted. Could it be that the service of people towards the Father on earth has ceased? I don’t think so; in fact, we are moving closer to the end times, and in my belief, the second coming of Jesus is very near. And now we shouldn’t have work to do? Indeed, there’s plenty, many lost souls who have not yet accepted Jesus Christ into their hearts, people among whom many believe in what’s written in the Bible but just didn’t clearly understand what’s written in John 14:6. I’m not saying this as an accusation but maybe the person from whom they heard it, taught it, or even read it themselves did not understand the importance of this Word.

‘Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. ’

And this verse in Romans 10:9 helps us understand John 14:6 well.

‘That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.’

Moving along this Word, among many wonderful statements by Jesus, here’s a verse that gives another wonderful promise to his followers in Matthew 10:32.

‘Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.’

“Now we also know what tasks we have here on earth with which we can serve our Father.”

For we have an intercessor between the Father and mankind, the Lord Jesus Christ. And it’s not the Pope or the priest to whom you must confess your sin because they teach it and enforce it. And you don’t go to the Father through Virgin Mary because then you would be trampling on the sanctity of Jesus by what’s written in John 14:6. Do not pray to the Father in anyone else’s name but only through Jesus. I find it important to write this because I come across many writings on Christian sites where they do this.

But you, who know all these, that only Jesus is our intercessor, also know that you too can cry out to the Father, whom not only listens but tells you things you did not know. See that Jeremiah 33:3 now also speaks to you, or rather, has always spoken.

Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.’

If asked what would be the first thing I would cry out to the Father for, it was based on this verse that King David asked from His Heavenly Father. It is none other than the verse in Psalm 51:10:

‘Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.’

I believe this is the foundation after Jesus Christ. A pure heart, for from it speaks the good or evil of a person, but let’s look at Jeremiah 17:9.

‘The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?’

Thus, it’s capable of deceiving itself, but we know who examines the hearts! Indeed, our Heavenly Father, and we know from the Bible right there in Jeremiah 17:10.

‘I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.’

Let our hearts be the good soil into which the seed of the Word has fallen and grown within us, and our fruits bear a hundredfold.

Just a quick reminder of where I’m quoting from:

‘Mark 4:8 And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred.’

The purpose of my message today was to show that our Heavenly Father listens to all our cries as stated in Jeremiah 33:3 and if we cry out to Him, cry out for treasure, and not for the treasure that Matthew 6:19 tells us about.

’19. Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:’

But for the treasure that a verse down in Matthew 6:20 tells us about:

’20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal.’

And I’m not going far for my closing verse because it’s also here in Matthew 6, in verse 21:

‘For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.’

Let me share 3 Scriptures that help us better understand the importance of receiving Jesus and its inevitability.

Romans 10:8 – 10

8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

If you’re reading this today and you want to be with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ in eternity, know that this verse shows you how to do it. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. In the following sections, I will guide you through how to confess all of this before our Father and our Lord Jesus.

Read this prayer out loud with faith in your heart, for what is written there is faithful and true.

John 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. These are the words of Jesus.

You can be born again as the Bible teaches: you need to confess

your faith. After you have been born again, say this short but very important prayer

with your loved ones, relatives, friends, and all those who believe in Jesus Christ. Because to be born again, we must confess our faith. This is what the next section is about.

Prayer for Salvation.

I believe that Jesus is the Son of God.

I believe that Jesus died for my sins,

according to the teachings of the Bible.

I believe that Jesus rose from the dead,

for my justification.

Please, Jesus, be my Lord!

Please, Jesus, be my Savior!

Please, Jesus, be my Healer!

Jesus, You are my Lord.

Jesus, You are my Savior.

Jesus, You are my Healer.

I am redeemed. I am born again in Christ.

His holy blood has cleansed me from all sins.

This is the truth, for the Word of God is truth.

Thank you, dear Jesus. Amen.

For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

Matthew 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

Reality

My service is not tied to a place, not located under a country or street name, and not hidden behind a phone number. I serve my Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, growing in Him day by day, being transformed from my old self to become like Christ.
