Our Efforts. I would like to share with you a very beautiful and meaningful verse from the Bible

Why is it important to accept Jesus Christ into our hearts?

I would like to share with you a very beautiful and meaningful verse from the Bible in our lives, which comes from Ecclesiastes 10:10 and speaks to us as follows:

‘If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct. ‘

I think many of us, both men and women, have encountered and also performed meat cutting during our cooking. If we did this with a dull knife, it made our task much more difficult, not to mention that it also took more of our time. As the first part of the Scripture says, if your knife is dull and you don’t want to sharpen it, indeed, you must exert more strength. The second part of the Scripture points out that wisdom leads to a solution for any problem in your life, or as the Scripture says, leads to success.

If Wisdom comes from our Father, which we know from James 1:5

’If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.’

Then we also know where to find wisdom here on earth, which we can read about in 2 Timothy 3:16 – 17

’16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.’

Thus, our Bible is the source of wisdom; our Bible and our Heavenly Father are the source of all wisdom, which we can better understand through deep study of His Words. However, if we look back at Ecclesiastes 10:10, we can see how, just as the blunt iron must be sharpened from time to time, so too must our Spirit be sharpened daily with the Word of our Heavenly Father. And this Spirit, day by day, if you sharpen it with the Word of the Lord, grows and becomes so sharp that it can cut off anything from His life by the power of the Word. And believe me, there is much to cut off as we can read in Galatians 5:19 – 21

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.’

However, we Gentiles have been given the Gospel, the message of joy written for us in the New Testament and for all those who did not believe in Jesus or what is written in the Bible. Of all, the first such message of joy for me is in John 3:16.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.’

Each of us is given a certain amount of time on this earth, this is the time when we have the opportunity to believe in Jesus, to welcome Him into our hearts, and to have eternal life through Him.

What is our life on the timeline of eternity, if I may say so because there will be no time according to the Scripture, so we live maybe 40 or 50 years, maybe 80 or 100, it doesn’t matter in eternity, only whether you accepted Jesus as your Lord or not.

The Scripture in Hebrews 3:6 says:

‘6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.’

Thus, Christ stands over us if we believe in Him. He is the Good Shepherd, whose sheep, if they get lost, he goes after them, not like one who is just a hired hand for the sheep and when the Wolf comes to snatch the sheep, the shepherd himself runs away.

However, there is a continuation to chapter 3 of Hebrews which warns us if we hear Jesus’ call but let’s read from the Scripture instead:

Hebrews 3:7 – 9

’7 Wherefore as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,

8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.’

Today, even if you are struggling with so many worries and problems, if something has happened to you, do not use it to wring something from the Father, referring to your persecution. You do not know what kind of test the Father has allowed for you, in which there is a possibility for you to grow. Therefore, do not harden your heart as the Scripture also says.

Remember, as this message started with Ecclesiastes, continuously read the Bible, sharpen your Spirit, seek the Lord while He may be found, and know that this Scripture was also written for you, for me, for us.

Philippians 4:13

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Let me share 3 Scriptures that help us better understand the importance of receiving Jesus and its inevitability.

Romans 10:8 – 10

8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

If you’re reading this today and you want to be with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ in eternity, know that this verse shows you how to do it. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. In the following sections, I will guide you through how to confess all of this before our Father and our Lord Jesus.

Read this prayer out loud with faith in your heart, for what is written there is faithful and true.

John 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. These are the words of Jesus.

You can be born again as the Bible teaches: you need to confess

your faith. After you have been born again, say this short but very important prayer

with your loved ones, relatives, friends, and all those who believe in Jesus Christ. Because to be born again, we must confess our faith. This is what the next section is about.

Prayer for Salvation.

I believe that Jesus is the Son of God.

I believe that Jesus died for my sins,

according to the teachings of the Bible.

I believe that Jesus rose from the dead,

for my justification.

Please, Jesus, be my Lord!

Please, Jesus, be my Savior!

Please, Jesus, be my Healer!

Jesus, You are my Lord.

Jesus, You are my Savior.

Jesus, You are my Healer.

I am redeemed. I am born again in Christ.

His holy blood has cleansed me from all sins.

This is the truth, for the Word of God is truth.

Thank you, dear Jesus. Amen.

For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

Matthew 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

Reality

My service is not tied to a place, not located under a country or street name, and not hidden behind a phone number. I serve my Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, growing in Him day by day, being transformed from my old self to become like Christ.
